How do I make purchases on themagicflute.com?

Place an item in your cart by clicking Buy. You can open your shopping cart at anytime to view all of your selected items by simply clicking on "view cart" in the upper right hand corner of the Web page. Change the quantity of an item by typing the number in the quantity field and clicking on "update." Remove an item from your cart by clicking "Remove." You can add additional items to your cart at any time. Click on "Return to Shopping" in the shopping cart and select the additional products that you would like to purchase by clicking "Buy" on the product pages. You may choose the method of delivery by viewing the delivery service methods available for the products you are about to purchase. Once you have decided on a delivery method click "Select" to confirm your choice. For a detailed explanation of the shipping methods click "Shipping Options." To continue click "Proceed to Checkout." Log in to your account or register with us. To register click "Register Here" and you will proceed to the Billing page. Create an account by entering your shipping and payment information. Click "Update Order." Next, review the Grand Total including shipping and applicable tax. An order confirmation page displays your confirmation number and your full order, complete with shipping information, payment method, and the Grand Total. This page will serve as your receipt. Click on "print receipt" to print this documentation for your records.



How do I use a promotional code or/and Marin Express Card?

To use the promotional code or/and Marin Express Card, choose the items you wish to purchase and proceed to check out. When you reach the "review your order and place it" page, you will see an area to enter your promotional code or/and card number. Enter an offer code and/or Marin Express Card Number in the space provided and click on the "Recalculate" button and your discount will automatically be applied. Promotional codes can only be used once and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.



What is My Account and why should I use it?

My Account is your personal profile for purchasing items on TheMagicFlute.com. Once you create your Account you can make your checkouts faster, update your information, check your order status anytime and receive email updates and special offers. How much information you give us is completely up to you.



Is it safe to shop on themagicflute.com?

You may order our products and services on-line through our secure connection to the Internet. Any information you send us will be fully encrypted for your protection. We accept payment by Visa and Mastercard, and every effort is made to ensure that your purchases are shipped within 6 days of the receipt of your order.

What personal identifiable information you collect and how you use it?

We collect your personal information when your create an account on TheMagicFlute.com, make a purchase or sign up to be notified of special offers. We ask you to provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user. If you sign up to be notified of special offers we will occasionally send you information on new products, services and special deals. All of your information is stored on a secured server. If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable information. This can usually be done at the My Account page. We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. What is cookies and why do you use this technology?

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. We use session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following Internet browser help file directions.

By setting a cookie on our site, users would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If users reject the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. What is your shipping policy?

Orders received by 4:00 p.m. PST will be shipped the next business day unless one or more of the items is not in stock. In general, UPS Ground is used for most shipments, unless you select an alternative shipping method (UPS ground, UPS Priority, and Saturday Delivery are available at an extra charge). Orders to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped UPS 2nd Day air. (You may also select UPS Overnight at an extra charge.)

All packages over UPS dimension limits will be shipped using a freight carrier. (Oversized or bulky items will be assessed an additional charge.)



How much do you charge for shipping?

Do you charge sales tax?

We charge sales tax for items being shipped to California address only. However, for some Canadian purchases, we will collect duty, GST and HST, where applicable.



What is your Return and Exchange Policy?

All our sales are final--unless otherwise specified in writing, with the exception that exchanges may be made within 7-10 days if accompanied by the original sales receipt. No exchanges will be permitted for printed music, books, videos or other copyrighted materials.



What forms of payment do we accept?

We accept all major credit cards. American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.



What is TheMagicFlute.com Warranty Policy?

Our warranty policy depends on the individual manufacturer's warranty. For example: Boss pedals have a Five-year warranty for any flaws in the mechanics of their products. Please refer to the manufacturer of your product to receive detailed information on the policy of your product (manufacturer's phone numbers can usually be obtained online at the company's website or on the product's user manual).
