 Tips for drummers:
-Practice with a metronome. Whether you're doing practice pad warm ups or playing a groove on the kit, the metronome is the key to a rock solid feel. Your band mates will notice the difference in your playing almost immediately!
-Learn to use dynamics by listening to your bass player! If you can't hear the bass, don't yell at him to turn it up- play softer. Remember, you don't have to hear the bass every second! Play a fill or drum roll as loud as you want- just remember to lock into the groove when you're done. To do that, you'll have to LISTEN!
